1) Difference multiple choice questions ‘one answer’ and multiple choice questions ‘more answers’

What is the difference between multiple choice questions ‘one answer’ and multiple choice questions ‘more answers’? ‘

Answer:
The difference between these two question types is the number of answers your respondent can select in the question. With a ‘one answer’ question the respondent can only choose one answer. With the ‘more answers’ questions the respondent can select one or multiple answers. You can set a minimum and a maximum number of answers a respondent can select by going to the question settings of a ‘more answers’ question.
Please notice: to change these question settings you always have to select the question first.

2) When use the radar chart?

When can I best use the radar chart?

Answer:
the radar chart is often used when different aspects are being compared with each other. (for example when you measure the satisfaction of some aspects). You can only do this with multiple choice questions with 3 or more answer options. The radar chart is not compatible with matrix questions.

3) Test your questionnaire

How can I check my questionnaire?

Answer:
GGo to step 3: Testing. If you want to test it yourself, click the url (at the top of the test screen). Your questionnaire will appear in a new window or tab. Now you can fill out your own questionnaire to see if everything is as it is supposed to be. After that also take a look at the test results to check if the set-up of your report is OK. Then you can end the test.
If you just want to see what your questionnaire looks like you can also use the ‘preview button’ in step 1: Questionnaire (tab ‘Tools’).

4) Extra columns to a matrix question

How can I add extra columns to a matrix question?

Answer:
you can add extra columns at a matrix question with ‘one answer’ and at matrix questions with ‘more answers’ by clicking on the ‘ghost column’. The dotted, little square next to the column on the right. It is not possible to add extra columns to a smiley questions or a rating questions.
To add extra answer options to an extreme aspects question, go to the settings of this question. (‘Tool’ tab and then ‘question & answer settings’).

5) Your own layout

Can I also create my own layout for my questionnaire's?

Answer:
Yes you can (from a NETQ GROW Business account)! Go to the ‘Tools’ tab on the right side of the questionnaire and click on ‘layout.’ By clicking here a wizard with 4 steps opens: 1. Select a template with different options; 2. Select the colour for the different parts of the template;
3. Upload an image; 4. Select the default text layout

6) Maximum number of questions for each questionnaire with NETQ FREE

Is it true that I can only create 10 questions for each questionnaire with a NETQ FREE account?

Answer:
This is true.
It is already in the name: this account is free of charge. We think it is very desirable that everybody can make use of our product for free, for an unlimited duration. In this way, everybody can experience the ease of NETQ GROW .
Nevertheless there have to be differences between the FREE and the GROW accounts of course (the added value for paying customers). One of the major differences between both account types is the number of questions a survey can contain. For FREE this is limited to 10 questions

7) Add routing

Where can I add routing
Answer:
You can adjust routing by going to the ‘Tools’ tab and click on the ‘skip button.’ You can only add routing with a ‘Yes/No question’ or a ‘One answer question’. So routing is not possible for a ‘more answers question’, because the respondent can select multiple answers. And if he does select more than 1 answer for which a skip is created, this will cause problems.

8) Insert image

How can I insert an image in my answer optionss?

Answer:
Click on the 'insert image' button on the right side in the purple banner (second button from the right). Now a pop up will open where you can select your image, which will appear where your cursor is positioned.
Please notice: You can also do this in the question or text block!

9) Exportert to Excel or SPSS

How can I export my report to MS Excel or SPSS??

Answer:
At the step ‘Insights’ the possibility is offered to export the report (in the way you set up your report in step 2) to a PDF file or to export the results to MS Excel (from a NETQ GROW Business account!). It is not possible to export the results to SPSS.

10) Copy a question

How do I copy a question?

Answer:
You can copy a question by selecting it and then clicking on the ‘copy button’ on the left upper corner (fifth button from the left in the purple text editor). De question now is copied to the clipboard of the application. To paste this question you first have to select the desired position. You can do this by clicking between two questions (or text boxes) on the moment the grey line appears on your questionnaire (on the stage). When you click the grey line it will turn black. Then you can paste the copied question by clicking on the paste button (next to the copy button).
Please notice: in this way you can also copy a text block or a page break.
